About the Chef

About the Chef:

Coffey’s Clean Cuisine is owned and operated by Chef Jeffrey Coffey, proudly serving the Northwest Arkansas area originally from Charlotte, NC. My love for food and cooking began at 13 years old, and it has shaped my life ever since.

After high school, I attended Johnson & Wales University, where I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. Throughout and after my time in culinary school, I gained experience in several respected establishments, including the Ballantyne Hotel & Resort, Tupelo Honey Café, The Ritz-Carlton, Stagioni – Four Seasons of Food, Branca Midtown, and later as the Sous Chef at NC Red in Charlotte.

In 2020, burnout set in. I felt unappreciated and disconnected from the passion that once fueled me, which led me to step away from the kitchen and pursue a career in IT. But no matter how hard I tried, it never felt like home.

I rediscovered my love for cooking in the most meaningful way—through sharing the kitchen with my two little girls. Seeing their excitement to “help,” experimenting with new dishes, and reconnecting with the joy of creating fresh, flavorful food brought my passion back to life.

Today, I bring that passion, experience, and heart to every meal I prepare.
